The exhibition has started in Bookish Bazaar, the bookshop and cafe in Kampot, Cambodia.
Set up the paintings.
The sketches are assimilated on the wall.
People from different countries visited the opening party and I got various impressions and opinions from them. Some people said that the atmosphere of the space has changed and it was the first time that I felt from having the my own exhibition.
There is a notebook on a table, so please leave a comment freely if you come to the exhibition. On the left side there are English, French and German edition of the picture book ” The window of the universe”.
The books of the right side are from the artist who had an exhibition at the cafe before. By the way this artist has made many works on the theme of another Krishnamurti. The famous one is Jiddu Krishnamurti, a philosopher from India. The artist has been on the theme of U.G. Krishnamurti, a philosopher from India as well.
When I was traveling in India in my late 20’s, I was impressed profoundly by Jiddu Krishnamurti and I had been around in India with his book. Many years later I came to Cambodia and I knew that there was another Krishnamurti through the artist. I have been his exhibition many times in Phnom Penh, so it’s a bit mysterious feeling that my books and his books are on a same table.
The exhibition is going to continue until the end of November, please visit the exhibition if you have an opportunity.
